於浙江大學哲學系取得本科學位,期間於里昂三大交流學習一學期。後於清華大學哲學系直接攻讀博士學位,攻讀博士學位期間曾負笈巴黎,於先賢祠-索邦大學訪學一年。二零一六年取得博士學位後於清華大學人文與社會科學高等研究做博士後。二零一八年入職復旦大學中國研究院任助理研究員,同時在山東大學政治學於公共管理學院教授政治思想史課程。二零二二年轉任香港大學中文學院助理教授,主要教授中國思想史。研究興趣集中在倫理學、政治哲學、思想史、比較哲學,與當代法國哲學(特別是列維納斯的他者哲學)等課題。

 

Pei obtained her undergraduate degree in Philosophy from Zhejiang University and studied for one semester at the Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 on exchange. She spent a year in Paris for her Ph.D. studies, visiting the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. After obtaining her Ph.D. from the Department of Philosophy at Tsinghua, she did her postdoctoral research at Tsinghua University’s Institute for Advanced Study in the Humanities and Social Sciences. She started working as an assistant researcher at the China Institute, Fudan University in 2018, while teaching political thought and intellectual history at Shandong University. In 2022, she began teaching Chinese intellectual history as an assistant professor at the School of Chinese, HKU. Her research interests include ethics, political philosophy, intellectual history, comparative philosophy, and contemporary French philosophy (particularly the thought of Levinas).
